What your favorite Eternal Deck says about you
Post Body

Inspired by the various D&D alignment definitions that are out there.

If your favorite deck is Feln Control, you are probably Lawful Good. Deathstrike is a fair removal spell. Lightning Storm keeps the swarms in check. Steward of the Past keeps everyone playing fair. Other players may laugh at you behind your back, but you police the format and keep everyone playing fair. Occasionally you're accosted by some Armory goons and beaten black and blue, but you always have a Gift for the control decks of the format.

If your favorite deck is Praxis, you are probably Neutral Good. You've read the numbers on Sandstorm Titan, and noticed that its bigger than other numbers. You've read Heart of the Vault, twice to be sure that it really was that good. You've collected all the good cards in your colors, and went to ladder. Isn't that how you're supposed to build decks? You donate to charity every year, and you spend hundreds of hours in community service. You believe that people should be happy and everyone should play good decks and it confuses you when others do not feel the same. Sometimes you step on people without noticing, but you bear them no ill will.

If your favorite deck is Rakano, you are probably Chaotic Good. An old soldier, you paid your dues in the field. For a time you were reviled, now you are forgotten, but you continue to battle anyways. Your flag, once green, is now spattered with red. Others have adopted the Oni Ronin, but you were the first to take the lawless scoundrel on. "Die with Honor" is your creed, and you fight to victory or death. Your firstborn child gets 1/ 1.

If your favorite deck is Armory, you are probably Lawful Neutral. Other players look to units and spells to pave the way. You're interested in only self improvement, the betterment of your weapons, and proving the ultimate in martial combat. Other "wizards" cower behind their minions as you cut them down in waves, only to find at the end of the day its just you, a sword, and their exposed throats. You delight in slaying death-dealers, and find too much joy in it to be truly good.

If your favorite deck is Big Combrei, you are probably True Neutral. Decks come and go. Civilizations rise and fall. Even mighty mountains crumble to dust in time. You crafted this deck back in closed beta and never looked back. Never looked forward either. You were home. Sandstorm Titans guard your doors, Combrei Healers salve your burn, and you've played so many Mystic Ascendants some have literally ascended to godhood. Vodakhan comes knocking at your doors sometimes, but he always passes by in time. As all other things shall.

If your favorite deck is Knucklebones, you are probably Chaotic Neutral. Something is definitely going to happen. It might be good, it might be bad, and you don't really care as long as its exciting. Your opponents rely on each other for fun games - ha! You bring the fun all on your own. You have a hard time sitting still, and all the turns before Knucklebones come down are just wasted time. Let's spin the wheel already! Generally mild mannered, you can turn violent if games consistently end before turn 7.

If your favorite deck is Chalice, you are probably Lawful Evil. In your real life, you're a lawyer, car insurance salesman, or similar. You delight in tricking people into making bad deals and signing things away. Many foolish opponents have sat down to grind out a few games, only to find the only had time for one game. And they lost it. Sucks to be them. Fun is a zero sum game, and you're going to have all of it.

If your favorite deck is Stonescar Aggro, you are probably Neutral Evil. You have a goal in mind and this is a means to an end. For many, this is a distasteful exercise, a mundane completion of an unpleasant task. Others enjoy the carnage, but secretly feel guilty with the ease with which they perform their dirty deeds. Those in this category may try to change, but often find themselves drawn back to it by its seductive power. Turn 5 scares you.

If your favorite deck is Hooru Aegis or Argenport Attachements, you are definitely Chaotic Evil. "Fun and Interactive" is your creed, and you giggle as you provide no such thing to your opponents. Power screw is your favorite mechanic, and Power Flood keeps you warm at night. You have no strong feelings about the redraw mechanic, but often create topics about it to stir the pot. Let Chalice players squeeze people to death and Stonescar coinflip - you know that true rage comes when opponents have literally no outs.
