I know Christmas sucks. This is my first year being estranged from family on Christmas. Its pretty hard.
I just try to put up 4 foot tree with few ornaments. Christmas is not about family and going overboard. Try to enjoy Christmas alone or with friends.
Im going to head out for a run in the morning then volunteer at animal shelter by walking the dogs.
Hang in there and no words can make the suffering better on Xmas day. It will all be over tomorrow:)
The estrangement is pretty very common among families and more people are speaking up which its a good thing.
