It’ll just be my wife and I and our two cats staying in and watching movies. I listen to friends plans about having to race from one parents to the in-laws or arguments over who’s family they spend it with and I can’t help but feel sorry for them. So my fellow EAC what’s your plans?
Yeah I can’t work and my wife works in a small local deli so they are shut on Christmas Day; so it’s wake and bake - exchange the couple of gifts we haven’t already given each other (sometimes you can’t wait!) then watch some movies and prepare a picnic for Boxing Day to walk down and watch the start of the Sydney to Hobart
I’ve never experienced a winter Christmas having come from Australia; once we don’t have the cats to stress about we’ll go somewhere cold for Christmas
Fair fair. Sucks about the job restrictions. I’m a medicinal user because recreation is still illegal here. I have get the Dept of Veterans Affairs pay for my monthly supply. It’s quite funny how the government is supplying me with weed at no charge - yet it’s illegal
Watch Vigil if you haven’t already. It’s a good BBC drama

I’m seeing a common pyjama theme here! Love it.
We’re doing a roast spatchcock because it’s just the two of us and I like to experiment in the kitchen. So it’s going to be a relaxing day.
God yeah my youth was bad, before my parents divorce is was presents early in the morning over to my mums sisters for breakfast once they finished with church, then to my dads brothers for lunch, then my grandmothers for dinner. We wouldn’t get home till late at night. After divorce it depended on what parent I ended up with depending on how chaotic it got. Dads was everyone came to him but we would never get through the day without someone being reduced to tears and someone leaving in anger only to come back later. Mums was a similar lap but we now had my step father’s family included. It was exhausting and made me hate it.
