Hey everyone, I set up a D1 Mini with some basic temp probes to measure the water temperature for my parents solar pool heater. This talks to Home Assistant and when the output temp drops below the input temp Home Assistant shuts the pump off.

The only issue is that occasionally (maybe once per 24 hours) Home Assistant isnt getting any sensor info for a few mins. How can I most effectively determine why this is?

If it is wifi signal related (Seems likely) then what are my best options? I looked at the D1 Pro but the soldering to get the external antenna working is a bit intimidating, and some people report that the signal isnt much better.

The ESP board lives under a deck outside, contained in some modified tupperware and sealed with caulk. Im heading over to that house today and I am hoping to pull logs and figure out why Im having this issue.
