Motor error caused by missing magnets?
Post Body

Hi all, my brother has this small Zinc Eco electric scooter and recently I tore the motor down and cleaned it and all the magnets. There was a lot of metal fillings and dirt, so I individually took every magnet out, cleaned them, the inside.of the wheel and the windings with warm soapy water and dried them for 24 hours before assembling again with a little 80w90 gear oil I have for some motor scooters. All but one shattered magnet went in, and while there are no grindy noises and much less resistance, touching the throttle throws an E1 error, which is confirmed to be a motor error according to the company itself. Would the missing magnet cause this? Or even the oil? I've checked continuity and connections so I know the motor is connected properly.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks
