Has anyone read the book The Giver? Yes the movies is a great visualization but I remember reading the book as a child and being mind blown and then understanding it more visually when I watched the movie when I was a bit older . The movie had always been my go to memory when thinking about the prison system & more.you can read about the book ,The Giver here
