Can anyone explain the payment price for the game?

So... I want to get the game while it’s got a 25% reduction, it says on the website this makes the game 26.04 € from its original price of 34.99

I then go to pay and it asks me to pay 34.03€ which is obviously not a 25% reduction.

What’s the point advertising this if it isn’t a thing at the checkout, frustration at the advertising sale point of this.

And yes some will say it isn’t a big deal but with the state of gaming to me at this moment in time I’d just rather developers be upfront and clear from the outset.
