I was just betrayed (again) mid raid by a duo by big red on customs. I started as a solo and was sprinting toward directors office for the safe when I saw a duo between trains and big red. I shoot, we get into a firefight, and one of them starts talking.

“We can talk about this.”

I say “okay, let’s talk. I want to go to dorms”

They ramble something about what they’re trying to do while we are both holding angles on each other. Suddenly, they start getting shot at by a trio coming from trains. They start screaming “help us kill the trio bro truce truce.” So I help. We start communicating and use strategy to take them down. I got a kill, they got two.

Afterwords, I take out a medpack to heal and one of the guys from the duo comes up to me and says “alright bro” and fires. He hits me, but it doesn’t drop me, so I fire point blank and kill him.

His duo, almost immediately, says “woh woh woh bro I have no idea why he did that were still cool right.”

I, a fool, say sure, then tell him I’m going to loot one of the trio we killed. I get to the first guy, lvl 45, and loot my first dvl, lvl 5 armor and a customized helmet. Sweet. I run to the next guy…. Boom. Shot in the head by the very player who claimed he was cool and didn’t know why his buddy shot.

I have no idea why I do this to myself. This is not my first betrayal in Tarkov. The lesson? Trust no bitch. Karma isn’t real to these people. Kill on sight, no matter what.
