Is getting insta-TKed norm in Tarkov?

After 800 hours I decide to team up using Tarkov internal grouping system. I am level 32 and teamed up with a lvl 13 player, TLG_labs on Streets. Figured I’d just run with him and help out which whatever tasks he has.

He gunned me down immediately upon deployment. This is way worse than traitor scavs id say. Is it the norm? Honestly never tried that feature and it seems very ripe for abuse.

I am not sure how can one use that grouping system if there is no penalty for being a piece of shit / psychopath. Sure “hardcore simulator trust no one” blah blah but we do have the system for derailing scavving. I’d even say this may be a bannable offense. There is no sense to team up now as I see it - so the whole mechanic is uselss. It literally spawns you into teamkiller’s line of fire.

Go through discord LFG'S, like Jezziekazam's. Never had an issue there.
