Why bother with randoms?

Decided to try Tarkov from a fresh wipe, played a little before during mid/late wipe just to get a feel. Lately, every time I group up with randoms, they instantly turn around and mag dump me. Like, I’m a lvl 2 nobody with trash gear. What are you going to get out of it? A trash shotgun/rifle, pain killers, and ultra basic backpack/helmet/vest? And I would “understand” if it was another low level, but it’s also with lvl 30 . Just a scummy thing to do, and was wondering if others have had a run of bad luck with the lfg randoms of eft.
