Look idk if this is an unpopular opinion, but i think this recoil change was particularly poor for multiple reasons. I think(and many others that do not have quite the platform that streams such as trey24k have) believe that for 1. The recoil that was implemented prior to the patch was fine and it makes for a more fair and skillful fight, contraryto popular believe. The reason i say that is because gun fights in real life (as BSG is aiming for) have similar recoil for certain guns. There are no weapons that allow for a full spray down from 50 m away. 2. Gun fights with the current recoil is just not fun. This is the meta from a couple wipes ago and what you find is players mag dumping 60 rounders from like 100 meters away like a laser beam. This is definitely not how the devs intended the game to be played. 3. This point may not be as valid, however i enjoyed the game much more when the devs did NOT cater to the cries of every streamer. The game is meant to be tough, grueling. That’s what makes it exhilarating when you win that fight that was super intense and “brawly” and both players gave it their everything. As of late i feel like between this patch and the last, Nikita or whoever at BSG has influence over the game changes has just been making “nilly willy” blanket changes to the game without fully looking into the repercussions.

To add to #3, i just think we are running on a slippery slope where BSG will start making big changes based off of what a few streamers have to say about the game, just because they don’t like the way the game “plays” one”feels in the current meta”

Look, to be clear, i am not opposed to changes to the game. But when they make the game unplayable for casuals (not me, i have over 2.5@k hours over the course of 2.5 years) and respond to streamers complaints every time they don’t like something. I feel for the common “casual” player.

I would love to hear contradictory beliefs or “arguments” as to why anyone thinks i am wrong or misleading.
