Moving In – Part 11

“It’s almost time for dinner... Lauren’s gunna be here in 15 minutes!”

You have got to be fucking kidding me… First off, can Sam stop fucking cock blocking me. Two times in one day is way too much to be blue balled like this. I guess maybe it’s fair to say that we shouldn’t have started to mess around right now, especially knowing that my whole family is home and moving around. I get it – before Lauren was in the picture, Dani was always treated as part of my family when she was with us. Now in her eyes, Lauren threatened that – but in reality, my family was very welcoming and loving with everyone of Sam and my friends that came over. Both Dani and Lauren would be always welcome at our house. I think the biggest difference is that my parents and Lauren’s parents seemed to be getting close too – but that shouldn’t affect Dani – it just means that Lauren and her family will probably be around a lot.

Either way, it seems like Dani initially feels threatened by Lauren… and she doesn’t even know the whole story yet.

So, for the second time today, Dani and I were in the bathroom together. This time, the roles were reversed – Dani was taking a shower and I was sitting on the toilet.

Dani looked at me as she took off the over-sized sweatshirt that she had put on to walk to the bathroom. I stared at her as she pulled it over her head, my mind momentarily going blank as I once again admired her amazing body.

“Well… start from the beginning” Dani said, breaking me from my trance as she stepped over into the shower.

I hesitated briefly, not knowing where to start. I guess I should start from the beginning…

“So, Lauren... Lauren Johnson is a girl that lives up the street a few houses. We met her family at that neighborhood party last weekend – the one that I told you about. Our dads knew each other somehow, so they introduced our families... Our moms ended up getting along great, so the Johnson’s came over for dinner last weekend. Lauren, Sam, and I get along well too, so we have all hung out a few times, and we went to the gym with Lauren last weekend. Since I couldn’t see Dani to see her reactions to what I had said so far, I didn’t know how she was taking it.

I mean, nothing that I’ve said should give her any concern, but you never know… Should I keep talking and tell her everything? Or keep everything surface-level and save those details for later?

Dani still hadn’t said anything, maybe she was waiting for me to continue.

“But… from the first time we met, she was very flirty with me. You know me, I don’t really know how to flirt, but for some reason she seemed to take a liking to me. I mean, to be honest with you… Lauren is attractive, so I am not going to complain about the pretty and athletic girl flirting with me. She is pretty much my type to a tee, and actually plays Women’s soccer at Clearwater, so we kind of connected over that…” I paused, before continuing. “Sam kind of tried to claim her as her friend, so that’s brought about a weird dynamic with Lauren between Sam and I – you know, cause of the rules we have – but there haven’t really been any issues in the past few days.”

By this point, Dani was finishing in the shower, she pulled the curtain back, exposing her naked and wet body to me.

Wanting clarification on what exactly she was asking, I responded, “Has anything happened, meaning what?”

“Anything more than flirting?” Dani quickly responded.

“Honestly… yes.” I said softly.

“Well, tell me Seth…” Dani said, a bit of attitude coming through.

“Okay… I’ll tell you, but are you sure you want to know?” I asked and paused, waiting for her to think and respond.

“Yes” she said without hesitating.

“Well… when Sam and I went to the gym with her, she was very seriously flirting with me. Flirting and touching me to the point that I was starting to get hard at the gym. She did this weird thing where she wanted me to spot her and basically hug her from behind…” I said, looking for a reaction from Dani – she didn’t really react, just looked at me as if saying ‘is that it?’

Dani didn’t react, just continued with her makeup, looking like she expected me to continue talking.

“On Sunday night, after our families had dinner together, Lauren and Sam decided they wanted to have a sleepover and hang out all night. I was up late playing Valorant, so when I finished and went to get ready for bed, I left my room and went to the bathroom. When I came back, Lauren was waiting for me… she was sitting on my bed, wearing just a bra and underwear. I was obviously really surprised by that, but basically, she gave me a big speech about how she always was over-thinking everything and not just having fun, that she wanted to learn to be spontaneous this summer, and how she found me attractive and just decided to go for it with me.”

I turned to look at Dani, who had a surprised and inquisitive look on her face, she didn’t look upset or angry, just seemed to be intrigued by last part of the story and by Lauren. Aren’t we all intrigued by Lauren though…

Dani asked, “She was just sitting on your bed, half naked?” She paused, “What else happened with her that night?”

She turned to walk out of the bathroom, but before reaching for the door, she turned back around and kissed me. I felt that connection surge through me as goosebumps covered my body. Dani kissed me one more time, letting her lips linger on mine, before heading out of the bathroom to get dressed and go downstairs to dinner. I told her to go down without me and asked her to tell my mom that I’ll be down shortly. I checked my phone for the time as she closed the door behind her. It was 6:26pm.

Great – 4 minutes to shower and get ready for dinner…

I quickly hopped in the shower, rinsing off the river water and sweat from the day.

Since she was heading down before me, I wouldn’t be there to introduce Dani to Lauren, but maybe that was a good thing. Maybe me being there when the two girls that I am hooking up with meet, is not the best for any of us. I’m sure Sam or my parents will introduce them… but maybe I just sent Dani into the lion’s den. Is Sam going to be digging my grave by pitting Dani and Lauren against each other? Why am I so afraid that Dani and Lauren won’t get along? Is that all I am afraid of?

As I turned the corner from the steps toward the kitchen in the rear of the house, I heard laughing coming down the hallway.

Laughing? I don’t know what I expected, but I guess laughing is good…

As the group came into view, my worries (mostly) went away. I saw my mom cooking at the stove to the left, my dad sitting at the table drinking a beer, and I saw the three girls standing at the kitchen island, facing my mom – Sam standing in between Dani and Lauren, all three of them laughing together. The girls looked my way as I came through the hallway, then looked back at each other and giggled some more.

Oh lord… maybe I was worried about the wrong thing. Maybe I should have been worried that the three of them would get along TOO well…

I approached the three girls, hesitantly saying “Hey girls… I guess I… missed something?”

Dani looked at me, winked and said “Seth… why didn’t you tell me that Lauren was so cool?”
