Chapter 10

Ariana said “Let’s add a column to show the percent of Aluminum and calculate that information. Then we can just sort the list on that and see what matches our debris cloud here.”

Kwils did that and scrolled through the list and finally found a match and said “It appears to have been a Class 2 interstellar probe. It weighed 80 kilograms, so maybe some of the mass has dissipated?”

Kwils said “What do you think happened to it?”

Ariana said “It’s hard to know. It either malfunctioned and exploded or someone happened upon this area while it’s FTL drive was recharging and blew it up. But, my best guess is that there was some sabotage involved. Please write up a report of your analysis and we will send it to Scout Command.”
