Plot: I'm engaged to my fiancée (preceding a long distance relationship of 5 years). 6 months ago, she moved in with me and to an area that's foreign to her. Since moving in, she's barely made new friends except for you, a long-term close friend of mine whom I introduced her to. Most times, you and her hang out just the two of you with the occasional girls night out and other friends of yours and I'm seldom part of your group. Tonight is different as my partner and I celebrate our 5 year anniversary and decide to invite you over for dinner and/or movie night. As the evening of drinks, laughter and stories shared goes by we all feel joyful... and drunk! It doesn't take long before our topics of conversation become increasingly intimate and private as, suddenly, you share that you've always had a little crush on me (you never told me) and since being in a relationship with my now fiancée, your feelings have only gotten stronger. She looks at you in disbelief while my thoughts inevitably go to the time in the past when I apparently had a chance with you. A time where I wanted nothing more than for you to admit those feelings. We all decide to dismiss that topic as we don't blame you but the alcohol talking for you and proceed to enjoy the rest of the evening together, as friends. My fiancée gets up from the couch as she excuses herself to go to the bathroom. The second she's out of sight and around the corner, we look at each other and feel an intense, unspoken connection we have yet to explore…

This scenario is sort of a 'work in progress' as it hasn't caught as much attention which leads me to believe that it's 'too basic' or 'lacking structure'? That's why I marked it as 'expand on my idea' in hopes of constructive criticism/input. I'm also not completely set on using this plot so if you have your own ideas/stories just let me know!
