Your friend has been trying to convince you to play Magic: The Gathering with her for weeks. You aren't really interested, but she's relentless. Finally, you agree to let her show you a few things just to get her off your back. After she explains the rules, you begin playing. She tells you that she's using a proxy deck for training purposes only. As she takes lengthy turns, explaining card after card, you find yourself zoning out as you listen to her voice and look at the mesmerizing proxy art she's printed for her cards. You think you're finally starting to realize why she was so desperate to play...

This is an old script based on a request from a while back. I finally decided to touch it up and release it after all this time. As the tags suggest, it is structured like an actual game of Magic: The Gathering to a point. Eventually, the speaker starts playing a little loose with the rules, but I hope that's alright. If any avid Magic players want to check me and make sure I didn't get anything horribly wrong, it would be appreciated.
