the Killing Joke

Fate… I believe we make our own, it’s not predestined it’s spontaneous, it happens when the chaotic nature of this universe points a knarled papery skin and bone finger at you, And simply says “you” Humbling if you think about it really. All your diets and active life extending activities don’t matter. You will die…. By yourself…. and at the most inopportunistic moment. When you just passed the bar, you just paid off your house. You just found something worth living for. Death will be dealt, and there is nothing in this world that will stop it. I’m no doomsayer, not really. I actually am an optimist and a happy person. But it doesn’t mean I’m not a realist willing to say what others won’t. I don’t dwell in darkness or cover my windows from the light. I thrive in the light and find peace in the shade during a sunny day. We entertain the gods. It’s what we where made for. To give them joy and heartache as well. We are that traveling puppet show. That performs a tragedy in a humorous light for the unsuspecting and innocent young children. Who will one day understand years later what it really was. We live because we do entertain. Clowns and colorful Ringmasters spellbinding and captivating their audience. A comedian and jester holding attentions. It doesn’t last…. Forever is not a reality of life. And when the show is over and there is only a memory of laughter. One final joke is said. And the wheel of life grinds to a stop for him over here. And them there... For those people, forever just started.
