Build Troubleshooting - 'secondary' half of split KB gets power but no signal

Hi -

Scratching my head a bit, so figured I would ask if there were any troubleshooting steps that might help, or things to try.

I'm building a corne MX v3. Both halves work independently - I can plug in either, and all keys register, OLED comes up, all LEDs.. no problem. If I connect the two via TRRS, whichever half I plug in as the 'primary' works fine. Whichever I plug in as the 'secondary' gets power (LEDs come on, OLED does not) but does not transfer any signal back.

Everything SEEMS to be soldered correctly, I've made sure the TRRS cable is working without issue.. but I'm not sure what my next step should be.

I'd appreciate any ideas.
