Hello all !! I'm an Armenian citizen living and studying in Lithuania. I'm doing my degree here and I have a question about the Erasmus program. My university said I can apply with no problem, and I've already got accepted to a university in Budapest for next Spring semester. My question is the following: I have a general idea on the Schengen rules, but I have my doubts about my legal situation once in Hungary. I have a Lithuanian temporary residence permit which lets me travel in the European Union without any problems and it lets me stay in Lithuania as long as I'm in school. But once I'm in Hungary, will I be able to attend the university and live in the country with my Lithuanian residence permit for around 5 months? Or because I'm in a Hungarian institution, does the Hungarian legal system require me to have a Hungarian visa/temporary residence permit and the Hungarian visa does nothing ? Thanks!!
