So when Glaedr tells the tale of how himself and Oromis fought and escaped from Kailandi and Formora Glaedr says that Oromis can a spell were he “Transported is from one place to another without moving us through the intervening space... he also shifted the very substance of our flesh, rearranged it so we were not what we once were.....many of the smallest parts of our body can be exchanged for one another with our ill effect...” Eragon then responds by saying that “ Such as spell is a feat of the highest order”
Questions: 1) Did Oromis rearrange himself on a molecular/ atomic level? Or merely on a cellular level? And furthermore is it really scientifically accurate that your cell/Molecules/ atoms can be rearranged or interchanged without ill effect? 2) How scientifically advanced are the magicians of the Inheritance verse? Do they understand biology in a cellular level? Or understand chemistry down to the atoms and molecules? 3) Do you think that we will see more instances in the future of magic and science being used together?
I know that Paolini-elda is on this subreddit and will comment on posts from time to time. Should he see this I would love to have some clarity on these questions
