I’m rereading the series and am 3/4 through Brisngr when Eragon literally contemplates genocide just so he can have peace…
I only make this post because I saw someone say recently that Eragon would lose to Murtagh in a fair fight simply because Murtagh is willing to go further than Eragon is. I think this shows that Eragon would do whatever he needed to in order to survive, even be comfortable
