Don’t get me wrong I love Murtagh. He is easily one of my favorite characters from the Inheritance Cycle. But man I’m more excited to read about Thorn than I am to read about Murtagh

In the original series Thorn was treated more like Murtagh’s steed than an actual character. We only ever get hear him speak like twice ( once during Inheritance and again during FWW) and only for a brief span of time. Not enough to get a grasp of who he is as a individual

I want to see what his personality is like. Will he be as angry as Murtagh? Or will he have the patience and optimism to balance Murtagh out?

Also I’d like some flashbacks so we can see how the events of the Inheritance cycle were from his perspective What was it like for him to be forcefully aged up with magic? How did it go his first time meeting Shurikan? What does he think of Saphira? How did he cope with killing Glaedr? Ect, ect

In short, I hope Thorn is as cool as his Rider
