I'm looking for a saddle for my haflinger, as the one we were using was too narrow (full quarter horse bars) and he was grumpy when ridden in it. (Only rode him in it twice, for a short, light ride, so he didn't get sore at all) I was considering a treeless saddle, since he's still growing (he's only just turning 4) but I've heard that the weight distribution on those can be bad.
Are there any treeless saddles that have good weight distribution and would fit a horse that needs something a little wider than full quarter horse bars?
