Hey everyone, I’m thinking of doing an apprenticeship over this upcoming summer with a riding instructor as I hope to get certified ASAP. I’m only 16, but I know of some Barnes that are flexible on having certification or not. Really just wanted to come on here and see if any of you guys that have had an apprenticeship, and/ or some riding instructors that I’ve had an apprentice might have some tips to share. I’ve ridden for quite a few years, however, I stopped in June. Thankfully, I never lost hands-on experience with horses as I am now volunteering at a private facility. please Let me know of any tips you might have!
