Post Body

Her dentist said her lower corner incisors were wobbly, so I called the vet who confirmed with X-rays. A bit of background: She’s a great eater, and is in good shape physically. The vet prescribed antibiotics, and said it was caught very early. You can see on the X-rays that the tip of the root on both teeth has started to dissolve. Now my question is what do you think the best approach would be? 1- wait until the next dentist visit in 6 months, and check then 2- have the two teeth affected pulled asap or 3- have all the incisors removed since it’s a progressive disease and she might experience pain? It’s going to sound silly, but she is very pretty and quite vain, I’m worried she would get depressed without front teeth. At the same time, I don’t want her to feel pain. Has anyone got any experience with an early diagnosis? How long until it gets all her front teeth, have you tried pulling them 2 by 2 instead of all at once?
