Blanket recommendations for clipped horse

I'm considering trace clipping my pony this winter as he sweats like a mad man. I'm curious what everyone recommends for blanketing? He lives outside and already has a blanket, but no neck/belly cover. I see some companies make a fleece lined full body sleazy that can be put under his normal blanket which is intriguing. Would I be better off buying a hood and a blanket with a belly band? What setups do y'all use in your clipped ponies? Pic for attention!
