I’ve heard very mixed opinions and thoughts on this topic so I figured I’d bring it online. What are your thoughts about same-sire vs same-dam siblings? Which would you rather own? Does it even make a difference? I’ve heard that it does and also that it does not make a difference, I’ve heard that people would much rather have same-dam siblings over same-sire and I’ve heard the reverse. Which parent horse would be more important to you in a same-parent equation and why would that parent matter for you? Here are my same-parent brothers if you want to guess which parent they share for fun but I’ll come back and edit/comment what they are in a bit!
