I hope this isn’t too far off the main topic of equestrianism to discuss here, but I figured it could be good to ask.

I would like to seriously start skiing or snowboarding this winter. I have skijored a few times in the past, but obviously this is pretty different. I went downhill skiing once 5 years ago or so and I remember the hardest part after riding my entire life was to keep weight ON my toes rather than my heels! Lol.

So, I guess I’m curious if there’s any crossover between you riders and the snow sports, would skiing or snowboarding be easier to pick up and causally enjoy as somebody whose body has been trained and muscled by riding for the last 20 years?
