Hi! I bought my horse a few months ago, he's a 10yr old mustang. We mostly ride western but I get bored of just riding western. Id like to have a English styled saddle too. When I get my own horse trailer I'm hoping to do some endurance type riding but I also enjoy jumping. We're more pleasure riding type. I'm not really into shows but if I do it will be rare and only for the fun of it and being in the atmosphere again.

What types of saddles do you recommend? Would a all around just English saddle fit the bill? I've had English instructors but none of them really helped in the way I needed to tack wise. It's easy to get lost in how many options there are. What are some good saddle brands? My horse has very wide shoulders but a flat back.

I live in the US, im not sure if that helps. All hate will be ignored, this is for educational only. If you have nothing nice to say more your fingers along.
