I’m curious, what is everyone’s opinions on riding a horse you’re selling after a PPE?
The PPE was on Tuesday, negotiations ended this morning (Thursday), and pickup is scheduled for Saturday morning. This is also when bill of sale will be signed and $$ will be exchanged.
Now, this is my personal horse whom I love dearly and selling him has been brutal. I respect the buyer and have been nothing short of honest, releasing vet records and making his transition as seamless as possible.
However, she is requesting I don’t ride him again. I had planned to have one last hack out/lesson on him tomorrow to say goodbye. I don’t want to break her trust but she’s taking away my last ride with my boy.
Is it wrong to go through with this anyway?
