Started riding as an adult 3 years ago, and am learning slowly but steadily…today it was raining - lightly at the start and then getting heavier. The horse I rode today is the schoolmaster, usually much calmer than the others. But he acted weird, nervous, hard to steer during canter…my coach said it‘s the weather that makes the horses crazy. Is that a thing? I usually trust my coach, but recently had a fall and am getting my confidence back, so wondered if he just said it so I felt better. (Btw, once the rain hit real hard, we stopped the lesson)
