Can somebody please tell me the rules for sharing a riding space with others? I only know that you’re supposed to pass left hand to left hand. I recently shared a pretty small warm up space with a jump in the middle and when one person was jumping the others were trotting/walking and it was just so tight since I didn’t want to go infront of the jump but when I stop the horse the other girls tell me that I need to keep moving. Also what am I supposed to do when I share an outdoor arena with another person and when I want to pass left to left they clearly are riding more in the middle so idk if I’m supposed to stick to the wall because I don’t know if they are planning to move to the wall or stay inside and it just stresses me out in the moment. Also when I’m done riding and I’m just walking around but the other person is still cantering and doing stuff at I supposed to move to the middle or stick to the wall? Because I feel like they have the right to being outside but at the same time where there are poles/jumps all over the arena and I don’t know which poles/jumps they are gonna use I have no idea what to do. this is so confusing to me and also please don’t hate because I’ve never been taught this!
