Post Body
i rode this little bay mare the other day, and whenever i ask for trot, she pins her ears and won't go unless i be more persistent and she bucked once when i asked again another time. however, when she's in trot, she's fine and her ears are back up to the relaxed-alert state. can anyone explain if this is a pain response or just a behavioural habit? i don't use my whip at all, and i definitely do not go crazy kicking her. she's completely healthy, my barn takes good care of her.
