We can treat this like a poll question. What thought resonates with you more when you’re caring for your own livestock?
Conversation went something like this: Note this is two different horses-man’s opinions.
Opinion one: Horse is suffering, but said horse’s only way out of this life is to die of “natural causes”. The vet wont be called unless horse is on deaths door.
Opinion two: Or would you do right by the horse and end its suffering if the horses quality of life was declining or their health outcome didn’t look promising. Being proactive and making the best choice and not dragging the horses life out because your judgement or emotions are getting in the way.
