Hello! Iām an adult retired horse girl looking to reenter the hunter/jumper/equitation world after a 7 year break. I now have more time/money than ever to thoroughly invest myself in the sport, and Iād like to start riding regularly, hone my skills further and compete in some small/casual shows.
When I rode previously I had a solid foundation of walk/trot/canter/low vertical fences and general horsemanship but I am quite rusty now. How many lessons per week does everyone recommend to get myself back into the swing of things and improve my riding in a measurable way? I was thinking of a 30 min twice weekly or a 60 min once weekly to start. Thoughts??
