Sorry, this is very, very niche… Hoping somebody will have thoughts to share. I have a ganglion cyst on my wrist and it’s gotten gigantic. My primary care doctor took one look at it this morning at my annual physical and sent me straight to see a hand surgeon. She says with the size of it, draining won’t be an option, I will need to have it surgically removed. It’s not painful, it doesn’t bother me - but then, it does. It’s huge and freaky looking and people are noticing it because it looks so… well, freaky. I want it gone. But at the same time I really can’t stand the thought of having surgery and then having to be out riding-wise for 2, 4, 6? weeks. Did anybody here ever have a ganglion cyst removed? And would be willing to share your experiences? Thanks so much in advance.
