Hi Epi fans. I LOVE my 2020 1950's Tobacco Burst Epi Les Paul and my 2021 Cherry Red 335. They've quickly become my main guitars while my Fenders collect dust. Like most non-pro guitarists I can't see paying $2200 more for a Gibson. So now, I picked up this used Epiphone EB-3 Bass. It's perfect for my needs. Has a surprisingly wide variety of tones. But I am perplexed. As you can see, it has a black bridge and the big neck humbucker pick-up is also black. I can't seem to find any photos of an Epi EB-3 with this configuration. What do you think, an after market change by a previous owner or was it sold this way in a specific year? I'm eager to read your thoughts.
