Is memory loss after a grand mal seizure?

Last night according to my girlfriend I had 4 tonic seizures, and my memory is kind of wiped, I only rememebered the important things, I dont rememeber what I did all week or month is this normal? Memory loss after a seizure, Iv had tonic seizures before but not this many in a row, and also Iv never really lost my memory like this, Im regaining it but it was pretty wiped out at first.
