Historically I have told my boss about my epilepsy. If I have a seizure they know they probably won’t need to call 911, some days I’ll be working from home, etc. Besides them and someone next to me, I don’t tell many about it.
My boss is retiring and I will get first dibs on their spot. Woohoo! However, that puts me in a management position; what do I do with people I manage? Should they know about my seizures? They would be most likely to see me have one at work, but would it that affect our work relationship?
