Had to go to the hospital after a grand mal... they gave me my old medicine and I hate it.
Post Body

I've had JME for 10 years starting when I was 14, and it got better to the point where for the past 3 years all I've had are small jerks and during this time I took no medication. When I went to the hospital they gave me my old medicine Vimpat(lacosamide). One of the reasons I stopped taking the medication was I didn't want to deal with some of the mood stabilizing effects . I felt really good leaving the hospital (extremely upbeat and wanting to talk) and after 2 days of it thought I was bipolar, but put 2 and 2 together and now I realize I'll have to keep taking the medication and if I'm being honest it's not for the seizures lol. Just wanted to share with people that understand the struggle of juggling mental and emotional health. UHHHhhhhhh
