Hi all,
I (22m) was diagnosed with epilepsy a few weeks ago and as a result I cannot drive until I am at least 6 months seizure free. My last seizure was less than a month ago. I am still paying monthly for my auto loan, and I've read online that because the bank still owns my car, I cannot just stop my auto insurance while I'm not driving (because of the possibility of the car being vandalized or damaged somehow). However, I was wondering if maybe some auto insurance companies offer discounts to drivers who cannot drive for extended periods of time due to medical reasons like epilepsy? Has anyone had any experience with this?
