On March 8th I had surgery on my left temporal lobe. It was a hell of a day (at least 6 hours surgery) and I don’t remember most of it.
I had two seizures the next day, an aura-like one a few days later and that has been it.
I still have weird messy hair and part of my head that has metal in and I can’t feel. Oh, also an eyebrow that I can’t wink until all the nerves and things grow back to the right place.
The biggest issue is I occasionally totally forget words. I remember the movie I watched the other day, but can’t tell you the title or name anyone on it. Just can’t think of them. I’ll be talking about anything and forget a random word. It can be frustrating, but is what was expected. I am doing better though; while still in the hospital I couldn’t have a conversation at all.
So far things have been good, and I’m hoping it stays the same!
