Would Antidepressants help my Seizures?
Post Body

I started having Gran Mal Seizures about 4 years ago, back in my Sophomore Year at high school. I have had 5 episodes between now and then and am on 1500mg of Keppra twice a day. My seizures are caused by sleep deprivation which was initially caused by extreme stress, anxiety, and depression. I have just recently talked to my neurologist about this and she prescribed me Sertaline Hydrochloride. I am a 20 years old man, and was wondering if anyone else was taking this or anything like it, and if it would benefit my mental health, as well as if it would possibly fix my seizures, by possibly making my neurons not be triggered as I wouldn't be having as bad anxiety/stress/depression. This may sound hopeless and stupid, but I know that a lot of other seizure patients are also taking these types of medicine.
