I had a drop seizure over thanksgiving. I am 42 living at college, studying at college, and working. The stress finally hit me when I missed the birth of my first grandchild, and I admittedly let my kepprage take full control. Well, I woke up in my bed covered in blood which I didn’t realize until I made it to the bathroom where I discovered that I didn't have pink eye, I had a black eye. It was swollen shut! Immediately I freak out and dial campus police. They show up and I am cleaning up blood bc my dorm looked like a murder scene! It was on the walls doors door handles floor and finally my bed. The cops think stop cleaning this is a crime scene. I tell them, “Ok, let me make this easy. It was me. 😂🤣😆 I beat my own a$$.” puzzled look “Sir, I believe I had a seizure. Then in postictal stage got up confused and went to bed.”….”crime solved!” The cops 😳 they call for the wee-woos and I walk myself to the rig and tell EMS who truly believe I have been assaulted are asking had I watched my drinks the night before. I was like ma’am I live with my service dog and unless he's gotten that brilliant there's no way somebody roofied me. Get to the ER they give me meds and scan my face. Thankfully nothing broken but thanks to blood thinners I look awful. It has been two weeks since the seizure and I still have a knot and my eye is still black.

How long will it take for this raccoon eye to go down? I sit with mini frozen pizzas on my eye bc they fit the area 😂. I have never face planted before and was curious how many have done the same?
