Did anyone else catch the insane slander by Joe Buck just a few minutes ago in the Hall of Fame Game between the Chicago Bears and Houston Texans?
For Reference: Bears QB Caleb Williams announced how much money he got as a signing bonus. Followed up by backup Tyson Bagent pretending to seize in his chair as a response to the huge number.
This lead to Joe Buck and Troy Aikman commenting on the scene. Aikman said “what a great response by Tyson Bagent.” And Joe Buck said something along the lines of “you’re right, he got so excited he pretended he was having a seizure.”
Shit like this pisses me off so much!!! Like wtaf!!!! A seizure is not a joke and it’s not something to laugh about or be used as a joking gesture. This is the equivalent to someone going limp arm and hitting their own chest pretending to have autism. Imagine that happens in an NFL meeting and then the announcers make fun of it!
Why does Epilepsy/seizure disorders have so little recognition? It’s so frustrating to see something like this on a live nation wide broadcast. And it really hurts too. Sorry for the rant, but I don’t have twitter and can’t call out Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Tyson Bagent, and the Chicago Bears for this bullshit and hope it goes viral.
