If it worsened, how often did you have seizures when you were younger and now? if it didn’t how often did you have them before and how often do you have them now? Also please tell me if your seizures are partial or generalized.
Omg that’s terrifying! I’m so glad you are okay.
I had two tonic chronic seizures about 10 months ago. About a month apart. I have never had a seizure in my life until this. I didn’t want to go in the ambulance when they called so I didn’t go to the ER until a day later and my EKG (or whatever it was) was normal.
My regular Dr took me off my Wellbutrin (which I had taken for years) and put me on 500mg Depakote twice a day and I haven’t had one since then. I still don’t know if I can drive again, and I’m kind of scared to because the two tonic clinics came out of completely nowhere. I was around other people and they told me about it when I woke up.
Interestingly, my mom is an RN for a medical device company that helps seizures. I wouldn’t qualify since I take medicine, but i’m lucky because my mom has educated me a lot on seizures and was there for the first one.

If you don’t mind me asking, what happened when you had a seizure while driving? It’s one of my worst fears.
