What’s the worst thing someone has said to you about your epilepsy / after having a seizure? (Trigger Warning SA mention)
Post Body

After I had one of my firsts seizures, I was covered in bruises as it had happened in work without warning and I hit a sink on my way down leaving me unconscious for over an hour and a massive bruise on my head as well as all over my body.

My friend at the time said to me that if I had been unconscious in his presence, I’d have woken up with bruises everywhere for a different reason. It’s definitely made me very anxious about having seizures for a whole new reason

Comments

“That’s not a seizure.” Nurse to my wife after a complex partial.
