I write these words for people like me and their families who face medication-resistant epilepsy. My intention is to find or create a portal, perhaps a chat, where we can talk. It's heartbreaking to deal with depression between epileptic events and not have anyone to turn to for conversation. What's lacking are not people who suffer from the same problems that this disease creates.
I'm not an expert on Reddit, but I'm willing to learn about other channels. Shall we help each other? I'm reaching my limit, unable to work and live as before. I never imagined this would happen at this time in my life. I'm 58 years old and was diagnosed at 50, in the prime of my life.
