Absence seizures. I mean... I've always thought I was just spacey and had anemia, so I was "out of it". But now with perimenopause, things have gotten more pronounced and problematic. So my husband filmed a seizure moment and we went to a neurologist and... seizure disorder.

It's scary to think of all the times I could have caused harm because I didn't realize it was a seizure. All the times I felt I lost some time/memory, that was a seizure?

Anyway. I'm titrating up the lamotrigine and my heart is racing today. It's Thanksgiving so there's no one in the office when I call. Should I be worried or is this going to settle?
