So I took regular lamictal for a few weeks and it was great at first but it ended up sedating me and making me really dizzy.. it took 7 days to leave my body. Had to ask for extensions on school work and call out of my job. I’ve now been on lamictal XR at 175 mg and tolerated it fine.. the brand I had was generic made by torrent.. my pharmacy switched the generic / got a dif one by north star and the north star version has been terrible. I got super dizzy and lethargic bc of north star. I was able to eventually get the torrent one again, but no difference was made.. it’s like the north star one did something and made me sensitive to the drug as a whole.. it’s been 2 weeks of being back on torrent and I woke up today feeling over medicated.. I’m on gabapentin, onfi, keppra, and celexa.. besides keppra I’m at low doses of these drugs. My doctors want me to try spacing out taking lamictal xr in the am and pm now.. I’m close to calling it quits with this drug.. had this happen with a low dose of onfi before to:/ Is this normal? Any and all insight is appreciated..if I'm tired it all is magnified and worse:/
