Manometry vs Endoscopy Expiriences
Post Body
I'm having a manometry next month due to awful inability to swallow - been having blended food for the past 6 months with even liquid feeling like it gets stuck.
Have had endoscopies unsedated as I want to be in and out ASAP and find them unpleasant but tolerable.
How do you think I'll get on with Manometry? Worried I'm going to freak out and not be able to swallow, or worse yet choke on the liquid... have heard a lot of bad experiences looking online.
Thanks!

Thanks for sharing that. That was my default position on it but I stupidly looked online and saw everyone saying how dreadful the test is. I feel like people are generally a bit extra with these things as I heard an Endoscopy was like 'the worst torture imaginable' and people come out of it with 'PTSD' and I managed it unsedated and while it was hardly a trip to Disneyland it was done and dusted in 10 🤷♂️
